David Aluga is a dedicated and result-oriented pharmacist with hands-on experience in pharmacovigilance, public healthcare, and clinical administration. David has a proven track record of excellence in developing and maintaining health/safety, clinical, and operational policies and procedures, delivering high-quality evidence-based pieces of public health work, and improving people, their health, and wider socioeconomic determinants of health. David obtained a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria, and a master’s degree in Public Health (with distinction) from Teesside University, United Kingdom on a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. He is a beneficiary of several scholarship awards and competition prizes. David is motivated by his desire to improve the health and well-being of populations in sub-Saharan Africa through the optimization of digital technologies in public health for universal health coverage.
