Dr. Tasiu Ibrahim

Fellow Biography

Dr. Tasiu Ibrahim is an academic; lecturing at his alma mater, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He is the Medical Director of Sultan Hospital, which he established in 2013 at a densely populated Rigasa Community of Kaduna State. His academic engagement earned him the award of Best Postgraduate
Presentation at Babcock University Ogun State during the 2017 Conference of Anatomical Society of Nigeria. Different media houses (radio and television) often interview him on health issues in Kaduna and Katsina States, mostly in Hausa language for which they praise his ability to simplify and translate
medical jargons. His university days were marked by his active participation in campus politics that he was ultimately awarded “Politician of the Class” at graduation dinner, for he held more political offices than any other medical student in a decade. Recently, he considers adding “Fighting” to his hobbies
literally, because that is what he seems to do more often than travelling- like fighting diseases in patients daily.
