Temi is an extraordinary chartered legal executive and chartered governance professional. She is a pedagogical innovator and an expert on gender diversity which is a global issue. Her professional purpose is to be a champion of good corporate governance and boardroom gender parity. She comes at these issues through academic research, lecturing, and public policy advocacy. Her penchant for excellence stimulates her in the academic world. Temi is a multi-passionate United Kingdom and Nigerian-trained corporate lawyer with strong skills developed in practice and academia. She is a highly personable legal advisor/practitioner with years of quality experience. A renowned and zealous legal eagle who has been called as barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She is well presented with deep and extensive knowledge of corporate law, company secretarial services, compliance, politics, business management, corporate governance, and overall regulations as she proffers regulatory guidance to various organizations. She has garnered work experiences and unique education both locally, that is, at home (Nigeria), and internationally, that is, abroad (United Kingdom). In addition, she is a seasoned doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in POLITICAL SCIENCE, (Law and Diplomacy), a dynamic public speaker, and an independent postdoctoral scholar.
Temi is also the Chairman and Founder of a non-governmental organization named Gender Parity Initiative, “GPI” duly registered as an Incorporated Trustee on the 16th of August 2021 under PART F of the new Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020. GPI is the brainchild of her doctorate Thesis which was birthed from the aspiration to challenge the global status quo of inequalities amongst the sexes, especially in boardroom composition. Correspondingly, she is self- driven with an ability to work independently and collaboratively. She finds it exciting and satisfying to work and grow as a researcher, lecturer as well as contribute her quota to making progressive changes in the world at large.
