Aisha Dikko

Aisha Dikko is the Kaduna State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Aisha Dikko, is a graduate of Law who obtained her degree from the Prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1987 and attended the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988.

Aisha Dikko started her career at the Legal Department of Habib Nigeria Bank Plc where She rose from a Trainee Officer to a Substantive Manager. She then went into private practice, providing legal advice and services to clients.

Aisha worked in the banking sector for 17 years, after which she voluntarily resigned and went into private practice. She was the Principal Partner of the Law Firm, Messrs Dikko, Khalil & Co (Barristers and Solicitors).

Her journey into Public Service started with her appointment as the Senior Special Assistant on Legal Matters to the Governor of Kaduna State and was later appointed the Special Adviser on Legal Matters and Head of the Special Investigation and Prosecution Unit. She has attended various courses and seminars at home and abroad.

She was sworn in as the Attorney-General & Commissioner of Justice on 12 July 2019.
