Mary Adeola Olarerin

Mary Adeola Olarerin is a Special Adviser to the Governor of Kaduna State Nigeria on Programme Monitoring & Evaluation for the 2019-2023 Administration. During the previous administration (2015-2019) Mary served as Special Adviser, Project Implementation and Monitoring, and as Head of the State’s Result Delivery Unit.

Prior to her present job, she has worked as an independent consultant for both governmental and non-governmental organizations within and outside Nigeria on Project Management (PMI/Prince2 practice), Business Establishment and Human Resource Management.

In addition to her independent consultancy, Mary is the co-founder of Wealthways Consulting Incorporated. A Consulting Firm founded in 2010, to undertake capacity development, research, monitoring and evaluation, and delivery of projects.

Experience Over twelve (12) years postgraduate experience spanning core Public Health, Health Informatics, Health, Safety & Environment Practice (HSE), Project Management, Operations Management, Research functions and capacity building responsibilities in governance (public sector), private sector in Nigeria and Europe.

Education Master of Public Health Major and certifications in Health Promotion, Health Safety & Environment Practice and Organizational Health. University of Debrecen, Hungary, 2008. Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry 2005

Associations Olarerin Adeola is a contributor to the World Health Organization Metrics, Global Public Health Associations and other Public Health associations online such as – International Public Health Forum (IPHF), Public Health Informatics Association and Environmental Public Health Association.
