Tolulope Adetunji

Tolulope ‘Tolu’ Adetunji is an Alumna of the University of Ibadan and Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development and a Masters in Development Studies respectively.

As an undergraduate student of University of Ibadan, Tolu served as Team Lead, Vice President, and President of the University Chapter of AIESEC, an international youth-run non-profit; as well as National Alumni Coordinator. As a Youth Corps member, she coordinated the planting of over 3000 trees in the old and permanent sites of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.

Following her NYSC, Tolulope worked at Tomato-Jos farming and processing company in Kaduna where she worked with small holder farmers to hit an average yield per hectare of 21MT of Tomatoes and 8MT of Maize which were three (3) and four (4) times higher than the National average yield for each crop respectively.

She has also worked part-time as an Agribusiness consultant at Kaduna Business School and an intern with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology, Kaduna State, providing on-the-job support. She is the founder of Irish and Moore – a Nigerian based company that offers Agro-allied and Agro-consulting services, promoting sustainable value-added agricultural production and services. She dreams and works towards the day when Africa will be able to not only feed herself but also feed the world and make a profit from doing so.
